Centennial Celebration Committee
The Centennial Celebration Committee is made up of representatives from the community’s service clubs, schools, community-based organizations,
houses of worship, businesses, organizations and interested residents. The Crystal Lake City Council is very appreciative of their efforts in
planning events and sharing our very wonderful history as a community.
During the celebration period there are many planned special events and partnerships to celebrate our cityhood. Many of these events are with our community partners who have made such a difference in Crystal Lake, and one of the prime reasons families speak so highly of the city and what it has to offer. The kickoff event will be on September 21, 2013 at Three Oaks Recreation Area with a year long celebration of exciting public events.
